This release delivers significant improvements to our AI-based restoration pipeline, especially for tackling complex film damage like emulsion cracks and water damage artifacts. The focus is a major extension of the AI-Based Color Stain Removal Engine originally introduced in 4.7.3.0.
- Spider Web Mode — A brand new mode designed to handle artifacts that appear as dense networks of fine lines or cracking — often referred to as crazing. This type of damage is caused by emulsion contraction or water exposure and creates complex interlocking patterns across the frame that conventional restoration tools cannot address.
- Extended Color Stain Engine — Major improvements building on the foundation of 4.7.3.0 with deeper detection capability for emulsion cracks and water damage artifacts.
- Automatic — The entire process is fully automatic. No manual masking or frame-by-frame intervention required.
